Last I tried, Chillout's VR mode assumes you have some kind of motion/touch/hand controllers.
My gamepad works for moving around but I cannot select menu options or press buttons so I have no capacity to leave the home area 🙁
Basically I would like the controls/functionality of the gamepad that is available in Desktop mode, available when a headset is connected/in VR mode i.e. you can press controller buttons to press/touch what you are looking at.
Context: My "headset" is my smartphone in a mobile-VR headset connected to my PC over Wifi with RiftCat/VRidge so I only have 3-DOF head tracking and no hand tracking. This obviously isn't ideal and I hope to eventually get DecaGear but in the mean time I would like to have the immersion of stereoscopics and being able to look around. I understand this may be somewhat niche but I would hope that it would be easy to implement and it would still benefit regular VR users when their controllers run out of battery.
