Mouse free while menus open

Please tell us about the bug you want to report:
Mouse is free and makes it harder to interact with menus and other players while menu is open.

Please tell us how it happened:
While in desktop mode open main menu or quick menu, mouse cursor will be visible and move freely. This results in the user having a problem interacting with the UI and some times its just not accurate to where the cursor is. Attempting to select player results in no details page as usual.

Please tell us everything that could help us reproduce the issue:
Open cvr in desktop mode then open either the main menu or quick menu and mouse cursor will appear and prevents usual UI interaction and player interactions. Attempt to click on another user to find its no longer able to bring up their details as usual either due to missing functionality or inaccurate cursor.

You can select players via home -> current instance as well as via search

What I would recommend, is I heard a lot of people like both systems, could there be a function to switch between mouse movement in the main menu to the free look and click via the reticle in the main menu? I feel like that update in the experimental is a matter of preference.

NicoKuroKusagi Yeah that's how i've been doing so but its a change that was not expected I guess as it was a normal function to click a user while the menu was open to call their details up. It would be nice to still have the option to look around while the menu is open in desktop mode and still select users.

We did this change in order to prepare for the usage of the new main UI, since it will be controlled this way.
We do not plan on making the old-style an option but we agree, that a more convenient option to select players in Desktop is needed.
So we will implement a context shortcut. By holding down ctrl + shift and clicking on a player you will open up the details page in the future. This will also be implemented for Prop details page when ready, so it will be a general-purpose get more information shortcut.
